The Liquefaction of Zeolite

The breath of the next generation of detergents, a generation friendly to the  environment and people with enhanced action, less residue and zero damage

Zeolite

Zeolite is a mineral that is quite common in nature. After it is mined, it does not undergo any chemical treatment. After crushing and sieving, it is ready for use in a wide variety of applications.

The boiling
stone

The first observation of a "stone" that "boiled" when heated, producing water vapor, was made in 1756 by the Swedish mineralogist Axel Cronstedt, to whom the ancient Greek name "zeolite" (the boiling stone) is also due.

The stone that
detoxifies

Zeolite has many positive effects on the health of organisms. It is a mineral that does not react chemically with other substances and is therefore not absorbed by organisms. It penetrates the digestive system and deeply cleanses the body of heavy metals and toxins.

The filtering stone

It is the reversible heterogeneous process of exchange of cations or anions between a solid and a solution. The most important substances capable of ion exchange are clay minerals including zeolites. Zeolites have a porous structure that can accommodate a wide variety of cations such as Na+, K+, Ca2+ and Mg2+. These positively charged ions are loosely bound to the crystal lattice of the zeolite and can be easily exchanged. An example of ion exchange is the replacement of Na+ by Ca2+ and/or Mg2+ in the zeolite.
Zeolite is a material with very high ion exchange and adsorption capacity and can bind other elements and entire compounds due to the fact that it is one of the few negatively charged minerals in nature.

Why this stone?

How do we use it?

We use two natural ingredients as raw materials:

1) Water

2) Zeolite

Water undergoes a special physicochemical and mechanical treatment, so that by changing its molecular structure it becomes extremely active. The “active” water is then enriched with certified zeolite of the highest quality. This process is called “zeolite liquefaction” and leads to the preparation of the basic raw material called “Zeowater”. The liquefaction of zeolite and the enrichment of liquid detergents with natural zeolite constitute our global innovation. ZeoTec cleaning products are friendly to humans and the environment as they are not burdened with active substances from the chemical industry and are almost completely biodegradable.
